Hello all. I have a question regarding to reporting a company you worked for.
To give you all a background. I got my CDL in October of 2021. I worked for Southeast Milk Inc out of Florida until rumors went around that they lost contracts with the dairy co-op's and layoffs were imminent. I worked there for 4 months. I jumped ship and applied to Pepsi. Pepsi was a #### show, never have been reimbursed for the miles I put on my personal vehicle since I wasn't vaccinated, I couldn't ride in the truck with the trainer. I worked at Pepsi for a month and half as I was spending more money than I made. I worked for Hornady Transport out of Alabama for 2 months because they refused to get new, safe equipment (binders) and got very tired of the dispatch antics. In between Pepsi and Hornady, i was going through a divorce where the other party kept rescheduling the court case at the very last second, trying to get me to say F it and not show up. Thats what their goal was, i am sure of it. So the gap in my work experience is there.
I am now working for FedEx Ground as a delivery driver driving a step van with air brakes and have been working here for 5 months. I am wanting to get back into trucking, but as you probably think, I am what some may perceive as they call it a, "job hopper". I would refute that I am plagued with bad luck. I am barely making 650 a week and I am barely surviving.
My issue is I want to work for Indian River Transport. I LOVED pulling tankers. I applied and talked with them on the phone and they say I have worked too many jobs in a 3 year period. I have had 4 jobs since driving commercially, where as you can say technically 3 of them were actual tractor trailer jobs, even though working at Pepsi I never drove a truck and acted as a Merchandiser than a truck driver.
My question is, legally, could I technically not put Pepsi and FedEx Ground down on my intelli-app and only give them enough information to get in the door. On a previous forum I researched a few weeks ago, I forget the name of the user, he said only give them enough information and that's it. I am wondering if it would do more harm than good to do this. Even greater, anything FMCSA wise that would give me a violation and damage my trucking career.
Any information would be helpful. Thanks for reading.

If you don't list previous jobs companies will find out when they process your application.
You may have to apply through recruiting services. -
Here the issue with omitting job history on your application. DOT requires 10 years employment history. Pepsi and FedEx could have put your employment with them on DAC. If thats the case and your prospective employer pulls the DAC report and sees you left that off your application, They can deny you application or worse If you are already hired and working and they find out, chances are you will be fired on the spot.
My advice is to find some employment and stay with it for 1-2 years. Then move on to OTR. -
