Yep the good pure good snow no ice. And in the 70's the day before

On a side note, the law doesn't care much for sleeping in one's little bitty truck unless said truck has a sleeper attached. Otherwise, you'll be expected to produce a hotel receipt.Gonzo1300 and NavigatorWife Thank this.

I just don't want to take the test with that Freightliner and the trailer with electric brakes then finish and they say ( well air brake restriction) LOL. That would just kind of squash the idea of me picking up a truck with a sleeper on it then having to go back and take the test all over again. I looked into putting them sleepers on them little truck yeah given you spend anywhere between 8000 and $10,000 a year all motels and it would pay for itself after a year but dang two years to two-and-a-half years in you're getting another truck and doing that all over again just does not make sense Class 8 run it for a million be done
NavigatorWife and TROOPER to TRUCKER Thank this. -
Lots of respect for you guys running those pickup trucks. My old body couldn't take crawling in that back seat and trying to sleep like that. No way could I live like that. I would get a single axle class 8 truck with a real sleeper I don't care if it did burn more fuel , quality of life has to have some value.Gonzo1300, austinmike and TROOPER to TRUCKER Thank this.

I am curious whether he would get an air restriction since tractor does have air brakes just trailer does not it's a good question that may take some first hand knowledge or expertise to answer and may be different state to stateGonzo1300 and RollingRecaps Thank this.

I bet he could get the air endorsmeant because the tractor is air and he could perform all the tests with just the truck. Maybe he will pop back in and let us know when he calls MI dot
-
RollingRecaps. That is the plan I'm working toward right now. -
That is exactly the reason I put this post up. When it comes to hotshotting they are a lot of different things that is kind of Grey area. With my makeup plan and follow it to the letter personality I like to know everything or another words how deep the water is before I jump in lol. -
I'm in Ohio heading back home to S. Carolina now. I gave them a call today and was transferred to another person then that person gave me a different number to call and I had to leave a message and number and they would have someone that can answer my questions call me back. For some reason when it comes to law and codes no matter what trade it is hard to get an answer until you get busted breaking one of those then there's the answer on the spot with a little bluish green piece of paper LOL. I just want to get it done right so all I have to think about it running my businessRollingRecaps Thanks this.
