Should shift about 500 lbs. ?

Call your dispatcher and tell them you need to fuel now so you can get a good weigh ticket.

Two holes should get you close.

I did fuel earlier....and meant to just fuel half a tank.... completely forgot and started cleaning windshield like routine and filled up 133 gallons....and I know that put me over weight...so am going to try again at half a tank...

Are you at 1/8 tank, or 7/8 tank?
Can you slide the 5th wheel up?
Slide it up a notch, the the tandems up two.

Never have slid 5th wheel....would really like to avoid that if at all possible....but will if need be....the weights I gave was when I was at 1/8th of a tank...thinking if I slide tandems up 3 holes and run half a tank then scale I might be good

Sliding the fifth wheel won’t lighten the trailer tandem. Moving it back one or two holes will.

The bigger problem is the fuel situation. He’ll probably have to get fuel every 50 miles, if that. This is why you load with full tanks.

You have to slide tandems toward your highest weight. Each hole is 300-450#, you can only move 2 holes or your drives will be over weight.

Believe it or not...when me and the wife were in school,we were never taught anything about that....had to learn most of this on our own...asking other drivers at truck stops and on here....
