Those who drive cascadias, how far steering wheel tilts down, can it go 90 degrees to vertical (horizontal to surface)?!

I cant go in dealership and see cause i live in different world.

If you can post pictures it tilted down all the way i will be grateful.

Why i need it? I have disability and everything i drive i have to modify steering wheel column.

    Thanks

    What disability would that be?

It might interfere with the long form DOT exam and your ability to pass same.

If I remember the DOT bible, the green version, the only two things with steering wheel versus driver is one... you need to put one fist between your belly and rim of wheel at the bottom and fit. Two you need to be able to have prehensile grip with both hands on the wheel of a 18 wheeler. And thats it.

And in pretrip should not exhibit excessive play at the top of the rim back and forth.

Tilt was considered too fancy in my day and a absolute luxury today.

I said i am in different world now where there is no dot.

My right arm has hard time moving and thats why i need tilt. While i lived in usa there was company in nj that made cars for disabled people, they modified my lpassanger car so that wheel would come 20cm farther and tilt flat. But they dont work on semis.

I have driven international prostar and its titls flat but i am looking cascadiaa, in my world you cant afford broken truck. Parts take one month to get delivered

I don’t know about Cascadias, but Fld120 has a small cover on the right side, that can be removed, and the bottom pin removed, allowing the wheel to drop about 4” lower. It’s a oval cover, about 4”, with 2 5/16 bolts holding it on

    That's interesting to know.

The FLD tilt steering has such a massive colossal range of motion it's unbelievable that you could get even more.
