Question about the Automatic restriction.

The DMV I am going thru does the Modernized Skills Test so I'll have to study it since its newer than when I had my CDL.

One word of advice on the modernized skills testing, follow the handbook exactly, including the cheat sheet. In Pennsylvania we require you to use the cheat sheet and only inspect the exact items listed. I used to teach the more the merrier, however now we will stop you if you go beyond the exact minimum. Also, with the modernized testing procedure they have moved the air brake test to the beginning of the pre-trip to get the automatic failure out of the way. Be sure to follow the wording of the air brake check exactly.
