    thanks for the info what do there drivers REALLY make a week cuz i have pre hires with shaffer and kllm but i wanna flatbed (cuz i like to work hard and be active and stay in shape ima ex football player) i know with them two the pay is real good for a newbie but i always wanted to skate board with the right means of course

    is it BI weekly pay or weekly ?


    And i just talked to a guy here in my hometown yesterday (TMC driver) and he got a dedicated right from teh get go.... He said there was an add in the paper. he called, THEY sent him to a driving school, then to orientation and for two years now has been driving dedicated all along I-80 with a covered wagon.

    Weekly, payday is Monday or Tuesday. I don't know if they do that anymore, never heard of what your friend described.

    so are u gettin 5 loads a week and are u Happy. do u go all 48 or just the east coast. and can u stay out longer if you want or do they force u to take home time

    I've spent about half my time with TMC west of the Mississippi because I'm mileage and want the longest loads I can get and I'm willing to stay out and run. I've been sent home when I've asked to be kept out maybe 4 or 5 times. You can run all 48 for sure, I haven't run east coast because I've intentionally kept my self out west as much as possible. I'm happy with how busy they've kept me, very unhappy with the changes they have been making and the frequency with which I find their hand in my pocket. All in all it's a crappy time in trucking right now and companies are taking advantage of their drivers to help their finances through the current rough patch. TMC isn't the only company doing it although that's of little comfort while it's happening. I'm sure I'm getting more miles here than I would at a lot of other places and it's not a good time to be looking for another job so I'll be here until things turn around hopefully by next summer. As a driver mill you can do worse.

    thanks alot i know im askin alot of ?s but being on mileage which would u make more mileage or % based on your runs how would u fair better

    I have no idea, if you are mileage they don't tell you the revenue to the truck. I think I would have made more on % though.
