Most companies are going to expect you be out for 4-6 weeks despite what the recruiters tell you. They want to keep that truck rolling. If you are close to a terminal it doesn't mean you will be home more often but it does give you a good opportunity to make it more accurate as to when you are going to take off. If you are concerned about home time I would absolutely find something else to do. This is the number one reason drivers quit right off the bat. It's a long, lonely road.

i would worry about getting past school and actually getting hired...before what my hometime will be....as many have found out...prehire letters mean nothing in trucking...good luck

Werner & Nestle share the exact same terminal address in Allentown... would you need to be a rocket scientist to venture a logical guess?
(Nestle owns Poland Spring)Lilbit Thanks this. -
Well buddy, stop trying to be sensical with trucking Werner does not have that contract H.O. Wolding does.Dix_ Thanks this. -
Really?!... OK, thanks... given that I've seen a couple Werner trucks headed for I-95 going down Rt.26 & then finding out they & Nestle were at the same location in Allentown it just seemed to be a logical assumption.
2+2 doesn't always equal 4 it seems -
There are a lot of carriers that haul Nestle. Central Ref and Werner are just a few. There are Nestle plants all over the US.

Werner seems like a ok company but for some reason they are beginning to sound like wal mart and i hate wal mart thats where I just quit
