If you are fresh out of Cdl school, just worry about getting the opportunity to get some experience... all the mega companies go to the northeast. Its part of game... work you way thru it, gain some experience and move on to greener pastures

Yes they do, they hired me out of school. I went flatbed side. They go all 48 on the flatbed side. If things remained the same from 2010, dry van side was divided....some guys ran 11 western, and others ran east of Denver. If you live east of Denver, yes you'll run a heavy dose of Midwest and Northeast. They have customers all over though. They do go to NYC a lot on the dry van side. I think the flatbed side is the better side if you go to Western.TripleSix, D.Tibbitt, nextgentrucker and 1 other person Thank this.

You know, as crazy as it sound, I want to go deliver a load in a big city, with big buildings just for the experience, It'd have to be on my own term though LOL!!!TripleSix and bryan21384 Thank this.

Lol if you're company driver they have that lovely thing called forced dispatch....many companies will ask if you're willing to go to NYC. Some companies, like Western Express, won't give you the option. Its all forced dispatch with them.snowmantrucking101, tscottme and nextgentrucker Thank this.

What is the worse part about nyc? My neighbor was an old truck driver for super service only company he ever worked for and he used to tell me horro stores about nyc and Boston. But maybe he was full of it lolnextgentrucker and bryan21384 Thank this.
