Apologies, I was trying to be sarcastic by saying we get to really choose when we want to run/camp.
We get dispach-we run like there will be ice and accidents along the whole way, and if there is extra time within 100mi of receiver, then camp a bit.

to the one who asked about if you have to pass on first try the answer is no. but after that for some there is a third for some not. some go back out some don't. we are here to set you up to be successful.

set yourself up to succeed. work on your pretrip everyday, be proactive not pestering. do not inital the time sheet if the time was not spent. I know a guy who was sent packing on second fail. he was late to his pad sessions and when asked on day of second test of pretrip if he studied he said he could not find his paper. be late twice in two days and loose your bill of lading on the road and you'll be packing too.

I know of a guy who had many chances as he worked on it every day and everyone knew he knew the pretrip. he had passed backing and road first day with very high scores. they helped him overcome his anxiety of tests and he was able to pass. those sent packing are sent for a reason. we have screened you and want to hire you but you have to do what has to be done to earn the piece of paper that allows us too. Only you can earn your CDL. We will help you but we won't give it to you.

DO THE WORK. DO NOT SLACK. TAKE IT SERIOUS. make it a goal to pass first time if you don't the second is normally no big deal if you have prepared yourself
