I don’t see $10 coming but we could definitely see $5. They have to gently get the public used to it. At a certain point even greenies will complain.

Last time I saw crazy fuel spikes was back during the Obama years when I filled up in upstate NY with $5.25 a gallon diesel.
I really had a discussion with myself at that point of just what the hell was I doing?
In the end it worked out though because it sure thinned the herd.
I don’t in anyway agree with the politics in charge right now but we could sure use some thinning of the herd right now.

Oh i agree, but i am still planning on $10. My business plan even has provisions all the way to $12 a gallon. I am expecting no more then 6 maybe 7 a gallon but as the saying goes....hope for the best but plan for the worst. The current politics are also why i invested in a newer truck. If they decide to ban pre-emissions trucks cali style, i wont be caught with my pants down.

Nahh until we either upgrade the hell out of our grid or have a huge advance in battery tech only fools or megas going after green credits buy electrics. Things are a gimmic at best.

While I know fuel is the same now as last year when everyone cried about needing rates regulated. I may be interested in this. 2014 bought 45k in diesel and never crossed a state line. I would be glad to do it over.

Because with electric which is clean fuel i could run 500 miles a day with a Nickola. No emissions. Clean and green. Electric is from the sun and free. Who cares what they cost. Ill be able to under bid everyone on coyote,jb hunt, you ship.

Well I can only tell you if energy sources are going to change then it's going to change.

But it's not time, they're not ready nothing is in order to do this, and much like what's going on down south it's going to be another Fiasco not well thought out at all.

Because with electric which is clean fuel Electric is from the sun and free.

That's what is pushed in the public square. It's not true. Most electricity is generated with carbon fuels and probably will be at least another couple decades from now.

Batteries for trucks to use. Not for OTR, local it works.

I could see electric motor with a small generator and batteries work for longer trips.
