Stay out of it. You could get into trouble by being a volunteer. It must be an employee or officer of the company that gets the equipment unless it is a repo which in this case it is not.

I don't want to get in trouble, I just thought maybe I could be of service. I'm just curious, what kind of trucking are you doing that is keeping you so busy? My flatbed work has been slow for about 4 weeks now. I haul out of a place down there in Fountain a lot. I have not really worked at all this week except for working on the truck so instead of making money, I am spending it.

It is almost impossible for a small company to find good employees.I feel for you.I went thru 20 in 18 months for 3 trucks.Had 5 trucks but never licensed the last 2 because of hiring drivers.Hired guys I knew, people I didn`t and one who I misjudged to be useless-guess what?He turned out to be the best-honest,dependable,easy on the truck and Professional with our customers.Had 1 friend who was also that way.2 out of 20.Makes me think that I will only have 1 truck the next time.My 2 drivers-1 permantly disabled(back),the other died.
Almost a certainty that the 2nd truck creates more problems than revenue but thats my opinion I could be wrong.

I'm a retired federal DOT officer. I haven't driven in about 10-years. When I did I was the #2 person on our undercover sting operation designed to see how stupid some of these state DOT inspection officers are/were which directly reflects on how well that state is training their officers. Some of the states did a miserable job of it too.
