Its only 325 per week with insurance for a car and approximately 425 per week for a truck.

If you only need a vehicle 1 week out of 8... renting IS a viable option

I spend about 3k a year renting cars and always have a clean latemodel ready when I need.
No taxes...titles... insurance. .oil changes..tires or repair. It may not work for you but it does for us.

well when I went on the road before I just told my insurance to place my car on suspension and all that is covered is if some one breaks out the windows or a tree falls on it. when I got home I would tell them to activate my insurance for those days and mu insurance was like rock bottom price.

Just bought a new car. I drive my car a lot considering I swing by the terminal quite often now to go driving around.
