Hello everyone,
I will be starting my orientation with Crete on Monday. I have over a year of experience with another company.
Does Crete require experienced drivers to go out on the road with a trainer after their orientation?
This was never mentioned to me by my recruiter. I was told that once I finished my road test and three-day orientation, I would be assigned a truck.
Then I could drive home with my truck to get my personal belongings and get ready for my first load. There was no mention of having to go with a trainer.
If you have any information on this, please let me know.
Thanks,
Ron

Just my 2 centsJOHNQPUBLIC Thanks this. -
Yes,they send you with a trainer who trains you on Cretes rules, and stuff(How to use Peoplenet etc )Also to make sure you do know how to control a CMV.
They schedule 4 weeks, but if you seem to have some common sense they let you loose earlier. The trainer does 0 driving, unless you get fired. -
I drove for Crete and I never had a trainer.
