    :biggrin_25523:

$145-$175 an hour truck and trailer , 4 hours to show up, anything over 4 becomes 8

If using his trailer and he’s willing to pay you in 7 days I might go $125 but likely $130,

    based off legal loads

When I worked in heavy haul in Houston, the day rate was $1,400.00 for day rental of an RGN. That was for 8 hours, with $100 an hour after the 8 hours. 4 grand would be great if you could get it, but I imagine that guy is going to give you the "stank" eye when you say "four thousand dollars". If you can get him to take you on at $500 a load, and you get all 4 loads, even in the 8 hours (if possible), you'd still be doing better than I would have in 8 hours with an RGN at the job I previously had. Mind you, this was nearly 10 years ago, so the rates may have gone up some for the day rents of an RGN where I worked at. I don't keep in touch with them though. That is what they would charge their customer (usually sunbelt or another equipment rental company) for me to go haul their boom lifts, forklifts, etc. for a day with our company truck and RGN trailer. If you get that for a flatbed, you're making out like a bandit. If it was me I would do this:
$500.00 per load, bill at least half of the full trailer rental too. So for four loads $2,000.00 + X with X being whatever 50% of the trailer rental would be. Depending on how the rental is structured, you could maybe still use it for other loads while you can. Which is why I would only bill half.

You’re doing 400 miles per days if doing 4 round trips…. I did something similar in Nebraska moving windmill equipment on a flatbed. 2 runs a day, each run is 100 loaded miles and 100 empty going back. Load was through a broker and paid $1400 a day (700 per run)
Also take into consideration chains, binders, dunnage or any kind of rubber mats you’ll need.

If you need short term rental, Coop by Ryder offers that kind of stuf. Not cheap tho. Might be the best option tho
