Question for Heartland Express Drivers

They also own Millis and Smith, hence the “Umbrella” term. As hard as Heartland is trying to unite four companies under one front, it is proving to be a little difficult. The biggest challenge; us Temp Control drivers. We are under a separate system than that of the other divisions in Heartland; and yes, there are inspection bays in at least three of the Heartland yards, one in West Memphis, one at the yard in Pontoon Beach, the other at Heartland Headquarters in Iowa City, Iowa. Just because the drivers don’t want them, doesn’t negate their existence.

The only “Heartland” yard that I am almost certain does NOT have an inspection bay is the one in Mt. Juliet, TN; but they do tend to prioritize urgent needs for the truck and trailer.
