Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am reaching the point of "taking the plunge" and purchasing my own T/T and working for myself.
I just happen to be on the side of the fence that LOVES the look of the Lonestar.
My SIMPLE questions are, if you own one.
1. Do you like it?
2. Would you buy another one?
3. If you do like it, what would you do/ get differently on it.
4. If you don't own one, but drive one. What do you like/ not like about it.
Thank you in advance! I really like the design of the truck. But that doesn't mean squat in the real world of everyday use. I don't require perfection. But I don't want to be in the poorhouse due to constant problems either. I've had a couple Prostar's (company owned) One I liked. One I didn't
Soooo, any advice???
***PLEASE. IF YOU DON'T OWN/ DRIVE A LONESTAR. PLEASE DON'T COMMENT!!!***

I own a 2015 lonestar 13 speed 15 litre Cummins isx 450 hp and I love it. Me and my wife drive a team and is a double bunk we're getting between 6.5 7.0 mpg it has plenty of room also is SPECT out with a power inverter 110 outlets on the bunk wall frigerator with a freezer we added a microwave it has the battery powered electronic APU for heating and cooling the truck is a little heavy so we paired it up with a Wabash 2015 dry van because the Great Dane we had would only allow us to have 44000 with a half tank of fuel now with a full tank of fuel we can haul 45,000. We are least on to Eagle logistics and making good money they have plenty of brand new Lonestars I also like the option at Eagle that you have the option to use Eagle freight celadon fright or find your own broker on the load boards
All-American82 Thanks this. -

I am not sure on weight. I DO know my Prostars were a little Heavy. Not sure about the Lonestar I'm a little disappointed. I assumed there would be a better response to these questions. I'm seeing a lot more of these rigs in the past couple years. Soooo, logically I assumed there would be mpre drivers with some experience and opinions about he Tractor by now.
Oh well. Not sure about the weight.bubbanbrenda Thanks this. -
They look great, and they ride well, with the slightly longer wheelbase, than most company specd trucks. They should weigh nearly the same, about 20k with fuel.I trained a month in one,and enjoyed looking out over the long hood.
Have to remember, its still an international branded truck, and you could save a ton by buying a pro star.
I call them the LOAN STAR..they sell strickly on looks. -
earnies2 Thanks this.

Noted..except the longer wheelbase provides a better ride
earnies2 and All-American82 Thank this.
