That is why I bought a prostar for 1/2 the money of a loan star and stretched the frame three feet

Looked this one over at a dairy in Cincinnati. All custom paint With Sheet metal encased rear frame area.

Nice part is the guys company bought it with a blown up motor so they put a brand new factory rebuilt non emission ISX Cummins unit.

Interior was Nice Ergonomics Nicer. Driver said it was as quiet as a Cadillac with the extra insulation added during the rebuild E771421A-AA08-4AE6-B400-8F7D9122947E.jpeg

I don't have one but I talked to a few of the owner ops running them up here pulling single and B-Train possum belly wood chip trailers on and off road.
I asked how they were holding up with all that big grill and plastic, in an on-off road heavy haul application.
They all told me they love them. Said no squeaks or rattles, very nice to drive.

These units all had big Cummin's power...no Maxxforce, LOL.

I have a 2014 lonestar and I am sad to say that I would not buy another one. Since purchasing, between warranty work and my own money, this truck has had over $108k put into it and I still don’t have everything fixed. When’s it’s running right, I will admit it’s a great ride but the problem is, it doesn’t run right very often or for long. I can’t get my dealer or navistar to do anything about it so I am stuck with it. If anyone wants to chat privately, send me a message
