My cousin tells me that in Guadalajara violence is confined to the drug gangs and dont mess with regular folks he operates a tire shop for cars and trucks. The trucking industry I think in Mexico is mostly divided into the major cities with major distribution warehouses and also to walmarts, famsas, and all the major recognized stores and from there smaller bobtails take the goods in to towns. I want to know what the pay is for an experienced trucker is like in Mex both as a driver and owner op...Also what kind of rest stops exist and what is the truck most widely used in Mex thanks.

The truth of the matter is if you have the dough (cash) you can always buy protection unfortunatly for the rest of us blue collar workers we got to hope for the best and not be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Pay is .13cpm to .20cpm although many of the big players are going a flat salary, plus the mandated per diem.

Read this article on Mexican Labor Law and when you realize all the benefits that are mandated by law and by the Mexican Constitution, their pay is mostly in line with ours.

    RAGE 18 Thanks this.

    @ Mexico Trucker,

You're fighting a never ending battle. Let the ignorant remain ignorant, and let them believe in whatever fairytails Fox tells them.

"Gullible" is it's own judge, jury, and executioner.
