Question for recent tmc hires

    29hrs on a Greyhound bus has got to be hell. Look at it as an investment. You'll get there early and be able to be rested for your first day, instead of rolling in late the night before all tired out. At least for me it was well worth it.

    Trainers can be anywhere, I traveled a little over 150 miles to get to mine. There was one 20 minutes away but he was already with another.

    My trainer lives 5 minutes away from me! I know lucky! The driving has been fun. It's overwhelming at times also. We are running teams now so I will usually drive into the night to get us close to a consignee. Keep watching the flights on Priceline. I got mine for $200 few days before I left.

    i never made it it. apparently the hiring area was "saturated" when i re-applied. good luck to you though.
