I have a job offer for a tanker position.
I have my X endorsement.
This is a quote from the Schneiderjobs website:
This Over-the-Road Tanker truck driver position features six preferred days off each month! Plus, you'll earn up to $0.43 per mile* and drive up to 3,000 miles per week
Is this fact or fiction?
Do you make the miles they claim?
I noticed it was worded "drive up to 3000 miles per week".
Please answer if you have actual experience with this position.
Thanks and I appreciate all responses.

There's no way any company can gurantee you a set amount of miles..just can't be done due to any type of delay/detention.
Schneider tankers move very well though..decent pay for what you do.
You will be out for 6 days though..don't kid yourself about getting home early.
Good Luck and keep yanking. -
the longer you stay out, the more miles you average.

i was told by my recruiter we would average 2200 m/wk OTR....12 days on...3 days off.....37 cpm...up to .43 after 6 months....c u there Bert
