i don't know how you got through with a tag. anything driving down the road requires some sort of temp permit.
i brought a trailer from boston to salt lake without a tag. but it was only in towing and i had bill of sale. but a vehicle driving on it's own power. i'm surprised no one gave you grief.

I decided to have a company piggyback them in. It was about the same cost as me flying drivers out and paying fuel,time,mileage back.

BTW Horsehauler, we only bought 8 out of the ten, the other two were quite a bit more mileage on them than what I was told by the time they got them in.
So we just bought the lowest mileage 8 and I will be keeping my Pete, so if you are still interested in one give them a call, -
