Hey Mtn, I had to look that one up, as I've never heard of a Pacific. Kind of looks like a KW on steroids. I've heard of Hayes, but Pacific is a new one for me. Was that a Canada truck? My ex-girlfriend was a farm girl too, so driving a truck was just a natural for her. She also has 30+ years in an 18, and still drives to this day.

I will have to google the truck and where it was made, my father bought it in Washington state from a fellow who used it to haul logs, then set it us to haul A train grain trailers. I will tell you I have too this day failed to find another truck what was a good at taking grain on from the combine on the go as that one was. I still go out to the farm and help out in the fall but my brother who took over the farm has a Peterbuilt with a 13 speed dont like it much for field work.

“semi” retired, I do see you point,
however; I find PererbiltPrincess's Avatar more provocative then
    purple hair.

Hi NW, Wait a minute, did you change your Avatar picture? I'm sorry, I didn't mean for you to do that. I have a daughter who is 27, and a cutie, I might add( all dads say that, right?)and I made sure she knew that some guys are pigs and just to be aware of that fact. I guess it's just the father in me to look out for other girls, not in a nasty way, but in a caring way. If purple hair makes you happy, by all means , go ahead. Just so you know, some fruitcake might be looking at you with ill intent.

"semi" as I said I did see your point and that's why I changed the pic. However; I have a son your daughters age. You are right there are all kinds out there.. I am here to get information and learn from people that have been doing this for a lot longer than myself.

IITR - Creswell, Oregon. It has been one of the best things I have done. Not always easy, but would not trade it for anything.
