Baby wipes weren't invented, when I was in, but we had steel pots.

one thing to remember...you get to take a 10 hour break every day. Sure, you might not make it to a truck stop that you have a shower credit for, or you dont have the cash to pay for one....but you shouldnt go more than 2 days without being at a truckstop to give you the oppurtunity. You being a military man, I'm sure you're used to taking fast showers. I wasnt in the military, but I can park in the middle of the day when I know there wont be a wait...the TA app on the phone tells you if there is a wait, and even lets you reserve a shower before you even get to the truck stop...so i can get in and out within a minimum of 30 minutes. and thats if i take my time on the john...

just sayin...you should be able to get a shower at least every other day.

Noggin is right about that. My 2 cents is, after you load head to the nearest scale, to scale your load. While your there, grab a shower. After yoj shower, the rest of your day doesnt matter. You can stop for your 10 anywhere if hour clean. I love staying at super walmarts myself.

Can you usually find a place to park right near your receiver when you want to get a jump and try to be first in line?

A lot of shippers and receivers have bigger yards or drives for you to sleep in. Melton usually adds in the directions if there is or not.... O/N, No O/N.... so yeah, if possible I like to get there the night before
