That is one method (and what I usually did). Another method is to hang one end of the container off the trailer (which is why they mention it in the empty securement section, but not the loaded section).

For the arch I would use 4x4 dunnage across the deck in front and back. If the container is heavy, it should flatten the deck.Hurst Thanks this.
