I wonder if I'm right or wrong in the way I do this. I make sure both lanes are clear and no one is sneaking up on my right. Then I pull straight into the intersection and then start my right hand turn so that I'm going to line up my tractor with the second lane in. I stay in that lane only until my rear tire on my main has passed the point of the curb then cut back into the right-hand lane. Done right my pup goes right around the corner and into the right-hand lane and off I go. If I wait a little too long to cut back into the right-most lane then my pup will actually enter the other lane a little before it settles back into that right-most lane. If I cut back too soon then my pup kisses the curb and I look stupid.IluvCATS Thanks this.

The truth is, the consensus was you make it from the outside. The consensus with one vocal dissenter.IluvCATS Thanks this.

You do whatever you have to do to make sure your trailer tires don't hit a curb. If there is a car in the turn lane blocking you from swinging wide enough, you sit there until they are gone. Time doesn't matter. When you rip a tire or hit something with your trailer you think anyone is going to help? It's all on you.
Buster Churry, DevJohnson, Bean Jr. and 1 other person Thank this. -
I got warned to “stop trolling” by a moderator. This is like my 3rd warning. So now I don’t know how to post and it not seem like I want a ban. It’s a crisis for me because I don’t know how to be serious at all times.389driver, Maj. Jackhole, Buster Churry and 3 others Thank this.

That is a major undertaking in heavy Los Angeles traffic. Even those you would block behind you. They would rather you do that instead of camping in the middle of the intersection.
The mindset is to get from point A to point B, as quickly as possible, without an accident. All the experienced car drivers are on your side. They would much rather wait a little to avoid waiting on ‘the Seige of Leningrad’ on their commute. -
To the OP... It’s going to depend on their point of view. Also if they like you in the first place. Could use this as an excuse to complain. If so, let them go on their road to hell without you.
I spent one day driving with a guy who claimed to have been a trainer for Knight in the past. I took a tight right turn the technically correct way. There was little to no traffic. This Nimrod starts screaming at me about running over imaginary cars. I said ( calmly): At least I didn’t run over that real fire hydrant on the corner.Bean Jr. and DevJohnson Thank this. -
I really didn't read the whole thing. I just take my turns in the way that doesn't cause an accident, and since every turn is different, they get taken differently.Odin's Rabid Dog and Bean Jr. Thank this.
