You do whatever you have to do to make sure your trailer tires don't hit a curb. If there is a car in the turn lane blocking you from swinging wide enough, you sit there until they are gone. Time doesn't matter. When you rip a tire or hit something with your trailer you think anyone is going to help? It's all on you.

The mindset is to get from point A to point B, as quickly as possible, without an accident. All the experienced car drivers are on your side. They would much rather wait a little to avoid waiting on ‘the Seige of Leningrad’ on their commute. -
To the OP... It’s going to depend on their point of view. Also if they like you in the first place. Could use this as an excuse to complain. If so, let them go on their road to hell without you.
I spent one day driving with a guy who claimed to have been a trainer for Knight in the past. I took a tight right turn the technically correct way. There was little to no traffic. This Nimrod starts screaming at me about running over imaginary cars. I said ( calmly): At least I didn’t run over that real fire hydrant on the corner.Bean Jr. and DevJohnson Thank this. -
Odin's Rabid Dog and Bean Jr. Thank this.
