We need to start a “Support for da Cat” thread. After all. Da cat can’t drive worth a darn. (Something about pedal reach) So why should da Cat post any better?

 

If you have any doubt just take up both lanes. I hog lanes plural all the time. If its a busy intersection just sit your ### right in the middle using half of both lanes and block those little knuckleheads from passing.

Seriously? That’s some bull crap right there!!! Your posts are creative and add a lot of personality to the forum. It doesn’t take long to figure out your wit. Jeeze.

I respect the mods, it’s a tough job- but the best forums are the ones that have mods with a light hand. Heavily moderated forums (like trucking truth) SUCK!!!!! I hope this place never turns into one of those heavily moderated places where posts have to be pre approved by their dictator before anyone can see them.

There might be a technically correct way to do it but as seen from the other thread it is heavily debated. The truth is do what it takes to make the turn without hitting anything. I guarantee you if an officer is watching you make the turn, if it ends up done safely they won't say or do anything even if technically illegal. Conversely, if you do it technically legal and do hit something they will say and do something. Point is, everyone with any sense knows trucks turn wide and have to do things different depending on the circumstance to make a safe turn.
