Just remember that there aren't any rich truck drivers! Killin yourself to earn a buck will put you in a early grave. If you have to stay out more then 4 weeks to pay your bills, then you have way too many bills.

Can't add too much to the good advice you have already gotten. Just know your body is telling you something, you need to listen.
Take a break, get a check up, and look at your habits like food and exercise. I had some leg swelling, figured i would get it checked when I get home. It got bad enough that I went home early...glad I did. It was cancer, started treatments responding well, and hope to get back on the road soon and schedule future treatments on home time, or home time around treatments.
Listen to the signals man.

It is so easy to get "numbers possessed", if you will, especially when starting out. You start rationalizing....."just another 200 miles", "just one more short run", and before you know it, you're out of gas.
And it's not just newbies. I theroize that many drivers get numbers-happy. These are often the ones you see that refuse to shower and take every other possible shortcut in the interest of saving every second they can to make another buck.
My personal limit is 4 weeks. I've done 5 for the sake of scheduling around personal events, but normally after about 3 weeks, I'm ready to get the hell out of the truck.FREEBRD Thanks this. -
Curious as to your age,
and what the doctor has to say after your physical.

My friend was hauling grain. He would accept another dispatch each morning when he felt somewhat rested. This obligated him to deadhead back to Michigan, load, and deliver again in Cincinnati. Every morning he felt well enough to haul another load. He never took a day off.
His doctor diagnosed a silent heart attack and told my friend to take a year off from trucking. My friend's daughter and son-in-law were stationed in Haiwaii. He spent a year laying on the beach and lived to tell about it. -
Have the Doc run some blood work too.
Man the lack of sleep will sure catch up to you.
I get home every weekend and still feel like i have a hangover.
Sleep deprivation just keeps adding up until you get sick. The body is trying to tell you that.
I was so worn down last fall that i was out running with pneumonia and was about put in the hospital.
Trucking is hard on the body.I now have high blood pressure too...
GET SOME TIME OFF! -
ALL of the above.
