Have started eating a salad a day, quit the barley pops at the house, and now that i have started doing this, i spend twice as much doough in the ta. Though i do feel better , i do not like to keep pace with the idiots anymore let em pass me, no skin off my nose. Slowing down has showed me alot, and i do not mean speedwise either, i am much less exitable now then i was before. If that load is late now i could give two quacks either way it gets there when it gets there.just not worth #### effort anymore, most of the fight in me has left in the last couple of years i was a six gun with the hammer ####ed back, now i am slow loading cap and ball colt......
question never been this tired

Tell y'all a little tale from back in the "Bennie Days". We had a driver that went by the handle "Splitter", who was "The Shining Example" as far as the company was concerned. Man, he ran and ran and ran some more.
One day several of us were stopped at a local restaurant for breakfast coffee. The fuel attendant said Splitter was out back, sitting at the fuel pumps..... and he couldn't get him awake.
Sure enough, Spitter is just sitting there, eyes wide open but nobody home. Talk abour eerie. Wound up having to take him to a nearby hospital. His heart was barely beating.
A week later, he was back doing the same #### thing.
Several years later I came across him again...... working as a helper on a local garbage truck. Burnt completely out. Lost his home, wife left him, barely knew his own name.
Don't kill yourselves for a couple bucks. MFing trucking companys aren't worth it.

Yeah it will catch up to you if you have a lot of bad habits. Smoking, excessive caffeine/energy supplements, bad food/over eating, not sleeping. You gotta try and keep yourself as shiny as your truck, which can be a pain in the ### sometimes!

Well smoking my pipe has been a burden, and taking twelve pots of coffee doing the saddle trampin for years on end this body has become a wore out farm truck. It is not the caddilac it was, after body parts being replaced with metal body parts ( i blame the green broke colts ). Well finally figuring out i can't hoss things up like i used to, now i am smart enough to ask for help ....

Ok so i skipped a good portion of the pages but seriously r&r is needed. Also I would recommend you start drinking a lot more water. Water is an amazing part of our human body, and coffee doesnt count as your water intake completely. Also, exercise, I know its the hardest thing to do on the road but get a chance to run, skip walk or lump freight, just do it. Your will find you will have more energy for the day.
