I work for a landscape company driving a auto f550 with a 16 ft utility trailer wich by chp requires a cdla license I been working there for more than 5 years got a out of class license fix it ticket got my license In April and took care of it if I stay there for a year will that count for some companies that ask for commercial experience the company had to get a motor carrier permit and dot numbers my question is should I wait it out and after start applying for local would it give.me a better chance

List it on future applications. My employer would call you out on it. It's still on record
It is not commercial experience, It's not CDL Classification in "CDL employers" eyes. Starting with Zero experience. Does not matter if they have MC number. Still not CDL experience. You are not good to go hiding the fix it ticket. Depends on future employer. ABF would send you 90 emails about it and then following it up with 55 phone calls from HR and Terminal Manager and then 15 Emails explaining.
