question on hooking to an empty

    Or they could just say you hooked up, unhooked and tried to get out of it. There's no way you can prove you never touched it. If a carrier treats you like you're saying, why wouldn't they just blame you either way?

    I'm glad my employer doesn't treat me like that. I've taken pictures after I've hooked to many trailers that were damaged before I hooked and have never had a problem. You could see my tractor hooked clear as a day, never a word about it. One of our drop yards is so tight that you can't walk between trailers often. The only way you can even find out if it's damaged is to pull it out.
