Question on joining Swift

I am wondering how long it normally takes after you apply on the Swift website before they call you. Also do they hire people who have long unemployments, everything else is perfect. I am applying to be a student if that makes a difference.

 

With me it was the next day.

 

Like the next business day. They got me in orientation like in 3 days

 

The second you send the application you'll get fifty phone calls.

 

I sent the app on tuesday evening and have not had callback or email. Should I call them, or is the long term employment gap just a no go for them?

 

Depends how long. If it's under 6 months you'll be ok. Wait you applied Tuesday ? You should definitely call them and see what's up.. I remember my dad applied one day and got called within minutes. But he has 20 yrs of experience and no gaps

 

They called me about a half hour later.

 

I had a 1.5 yr employment gap, wasnt an issue for me....

 

Several years ago, filled in my name,address and number.Clicked next page and had a recruiter on the horn requesting to speak with Mr. Shaggy.
It was little after noon on a friday, told the excited fella think about it over the weekend. Never called him back. Not sure why at the time, nothing against Swift Think I had a better offer for local work.

OP: Send out several apps to several companies. see who has the better options for you. Maybe swift who knows. Good luck and keep us updated.

 

If you had put your location in your profile I could give you the number to the recruiter in your area. The recruiter who may have been on vacation last week...
