Larry minn,i have a tire monitor system for 3 years now.
No blowouts, lots off times noticing a tyre where the pressure went down very slowly.
Found something in those tires every time.
I will never run a truck or trailer without it again.![]()

I blew a trailer tire last week. I slowed down and continued driving the 2 miles up the road to the next exit, found an old out-of-business gas station and pulled into their lot to wait for the tire shop to bring me another tire.
The road service guy thanked me.
Believe it or not, they don't like changing tires on the side of the highway with traffic zipping past them at 70+ mph only inches from their backside. They want to go home at the end of their shift just like anybody else. Personally, the fuel savings I might see or the extra freight capacity I might gain due to the lower tare weight just doesn't justify the dangerous situation that might arise in the event of a tire failure. I just can't put a price on another person's life like that. I'll keep my duals, even if they are a little heavier and less fuel efficient. -
