my wife is a driver for Prime Trucking. I have my CDL and want to drive/partner with my wife.
Problem is, I can’t drive a full schedule. Does anyone know if Prime will let me drive as a 1/2
Team Partner - if that makes sense.

What exactly do you mean 1/2?

Only drive 35 hrs in a week but still be on the truck..

Or you on a few days and than go home?

Makes perfect sense. I believe there was a team here a week or so ago that done that. Not sure whether it was Prime.

And they would be the ones you need to speak with. Is your wife company or lease?

Quite common at the megas. Some call it super solo. Basically it's runs between around 600 - 1,000 miles. Runs that are a bit more then what a single can do in a day, but too short to make good use of full teams.

Be on the truck full time and drive limited time. Like 25 to 35 hours for the week.

Super SOLO would be a good way to put it

But why you cannot drive longer than your wife is something wrong with you are you just rather her work on you sleep,
