Squirrel, what prevents someone from walking away with the magnet? I think the way to go is to have a hard mount through the roof with a removable antenna... I'll do that next time.

I did find TNC connections that I think will work, thanks 25 for encouraging me to go back and look again. I guess they don't do male to female but I'll use TNC the same way I was gonna use the 259s - two males and a coupling.

Squirrel, I just got an SWR meter, small one I'm gonna keep in the line. I thought tuning the Lil' Will meant cutting to length? There isn't much range for lengething/shortening in the housing. Did you have to keep cutting yours or just move the placement around?

the only thing i can see is if they cut the coax, then the magnet can be stolen. i have never had mine stolen.

I stuck the magnet in the center of the roof and cut a little at a time checking swr every time after it was cut.
