Make sure you comply with what your trip permit says...period.
(Not what some driver tells you)
Any variance, they can void your permit, give you a fine, and you sit until you get a new permit.
Double check your measurements on the permit, and the weights. -
make sure you vin also matches the permits. truck number . plate and all that jazz.
colorado got me once on that. permit guy forgot i was in a different truck and that was 6 weeks after i started driving that truck. -
Followed the advice you guys gave. Made sure all my numbers matched, over-secured my load, started off a bit before legal dawn, but eh...On a tight schedule. Rolled through TN weigh stations with zero problems. Thanks guys!
