also, by boss is telling me that i should sell it because now is the time to sell a truck. he knows people that are looking to buy a truck, but can't find one that isn't horrendously over-priced.
i told him the problem is that I am $10k deep in repairs, not to mention what I paid for the truck. No one is going to want to give me more than $10k (if that) for my truck, because the interior still needs some work, not to mention some random minor bodywork and a paint job. Even then, i'd be luck to get $15 out of it because it's old, and no paperwork on the engine work.
I think he just doesn't want me driving my own truck because I make him a decent amount of money, and I don't call out every other day -
Okay ... So ...
I am putting this truck on the road next week. Will be going back and forth to Chicago with a company I used to work for. They will back me up for a bit. If I break down, they'll bring me a company truck, and take mine back to the shop for repairs, and take the repairs out of my settlement.
I will not be running over 65mph really, but also don't have cruise, but that's life.
Will start a new thread at some point to keep you updated.BoxCarKidd, Brettj3876 and SmallPackage Thank this. -

Good on 'ya, Work ethic. Check.
Just do it; will either be the best or worst thing you ever did.
You're already driving, and you have a safety net.
(Big plus; who has that?)
What could possibly go wrong?

also, the letters are already on the truck, and they painted the rims and frame. Will take a pic and upload it with the new thread later today in the flatbed forum.
They're putting a headache rack on it so that way I can have a place to put chains. All the 53 Footers are on Texas runs, I was hoping to have one with a bulkhead, but it is what it is.LameMule Thanks this. -
