    First post nails it. I couldn't have said it better myself. The money for a first year driver is going to be the same everywhere for the most part. I wouldn't sweat it.

    Ok , thanx for the knowledge that you all have shared with me. Just one more question. Are the l/w a.k.a. cute trucks really that much smaller then the larger cascades?

    Good advice here. Mileage pay is only about 70% of my check. Drop pay, hourly demurage, layover pay, sleeper berth pay, etc make up the rest.
