IMHO--get a good traffic lawyer IN FLORIDA--contact them--and follow their advice! And that needs to be an attorney whose practice is based in the jurisdiction the warrant is from--Im sure you can get a good recomendation by contacting the local Fl bar assoc. office in that county...

 

Call the local DA in the city/county which has the warrant. Ask them how to resolve this.

 

Heck, just find a small trucking company that will not go to Florida.

 

You should clear it up, if you call the agency ahead of time and know what they expect from you to resolve it, it might save you in the long run. If you go voluntarily during business hours of the PD and court and pay your fines your "arrest" may be as simple as getting fingerprinted and appearing before a judge..lol no cuffs, etc.. If you don't and get stopped within their pickup range you will go to jail or be required to post bail in cash on the spot to avoid it.

If you ever were to get stopped outside the pickup range the cops gonna know you have a warrant and you are going to be started off on the wrong foot to begin with.

I'm assuming this is for some unpaid fines and or something do do with your probation...Being the warrant is as old as it is, the case must have been adjudicated back then. If not, statue of limitations would probably be in play.
