Don't lie btw, single marijuana usage is rarely even detectable in a dot urine test.
Even heavy users rarely fail past 10-14 days clean, the 30 day myth was from a non controlled study conducted in the 80's.

 

If it's a hair test it will be in your system for several months.

Pot will stay in your system a number of weeks to several months. I would not take a chance on a pee or blood test either.

I'll wait 6 months and get cleaned up if I was a smoker. Otherwise it's going to be a hot result and today's hot result is not something you want recorded anywhere.

I take a test montly, perversely to determine how much drug is in my blood currently against a range of my symptoms. If I say something hurts and there is medicine inside of me detected by test all is well. They also check kidney and liver too. As long those two items are working well, I can continue on. (Prescription medicine against chronic wear and tear related problems in my own life)

We just became a medical pot state. That would be a option here. But not for trucking it aint. You also will have any weapons taken away from your home once you are prescribed and get a pot card to begin treatment that way. They are still working out the details at the state house. Nothing has been said about driving licenses for cars with pot in your system. =) yet.

I know I wont be doing Pot. I did once decades ago and it's not my flavor. And in those days times were much different than they are now.

Google has a range of information closer to the dark web for those in the illegal drug situation. Information related to half life of drugs versus testing are availible for those with google and a few minutes to read. Including posts from people actually doing testing.

 

You'll have to complete SAP, if you shop around you can find them pretty cheap.

Just a word of friendly advice here. At some point in the future the FMCSA is planning to start an MRO positive database. This will have nothing to do with DAC. However a company will be required to check it before they hire and I suspect during your yearly review. This is going to be a huge problem for people because society has loosened up some on marijuana usage. The only problem is marijuana is a DEA schedule I drug and prohibited in the federally regulated trucking industry. Right now if you want to smoke your bong don't try to drive a truck!
