No I dont but she asked me and I told her that I dont mind getting it....Everything went well at the interview hopefully I will hear something in the next few days. She did mention about ltl loads from terminal to terminal. They sound like gravy loads with good miles. I will get them as soon as I hear something.
Hubby got his truck today....He said it has ALOT of miles on it...but its okay...He doesnt mind the uniform policy. Goes to OK tomorrow for training. Things are looking good..Found out that after a year his benefits get better...which is good..they didnt look so hot starting out!! All in all...we are excited about this new job!! As for a webcam interview..he never did one of those!! Said orientation was okay...they paid 225.00 for that!! Good luck Jmoney!
mustang they also have nre internationals too.all the new trucks have the electronic logs on them.i was told we are going that way soon on all the trucks.i moved into a 2007 volvo auto last week made it to dal.and the clutch in the trans.went out.moved into another 07 for now hoping to get the one in dal.back it was in great shape.so far i am still loving it here.had a couple of petco loads those can be rough.but everything else has been great.i usually get about 2300 to 3100 miles a week so far.still waiting on the background check results so i can get my hazmat.i dont plan on leaving anytime soon either
I knew about the Internationals, but had no idea they were adding more Freightliners until I saw them. My '07 Volvo just rolled over 400k and is still a nice truck. It was clean when I got it, and had been taken care of. I hope to keep it a long time.
Why are the petco loads rough? Where do they originate from and where do they go to? Just wondering...
The distribution center is in Braselton, GA. The only gripe I ever had was a 1 A.M. pick up time and start dropping the same day. They have it it figured where you barely get a nap. It is driver assist, which is just pulling off the pallets with a hand jack. Maybe I have been lucky, but I have rarely been asked to do it. On the plus side, you never have to wait at deliveries. They get the delivery at the same time every week and are ready when you get there and will call your next drop and let them know you are coming. I'm not sure where all they go, but I have been as far as Baton Rouge LA. There is a gravy load that goes to other distribution center in Orlando FL, no touch.
Things are looking okay w/ the job thus far! Chad's truck has close to 800000 miles on it..and has a tape deck!!! LOL He is sweaty he says...and its hard work..nothing he is against doing!! We are really hoping this is the job for him...and that he will be a lifer w/ them! Thanks MUSTANGGT!! You have been very helpful!!!
