My '07 still has tape deck too, but I have my XM on all the time. I think all the newer units have CD players.
With 800k, he won't be in it long.
Just think, he will be heading home tomorrow. Bet you can get used to that.

I've wanted a Pete ever since I've been here. Looks like once those are gone, that will be it.
I've had one Freightliner and this is my fourth Volvo. Has 402k on it now. I hope to keep it until they sell it.
My # is 12929. I do a dedicated Mercedes from Vance AL to Michigan, so I'm up and down I-65 all the time.
You are going to love the Tri-pac.

I also applied for Averitt and spoke with a recruiter. I like a month until I have my year in OTR so I will need to wait unless I decide to go through the three week training. Dont really want to do that when I can wait another month. From what I have read I am really excited to come over to Averitt. I already have hazmat and twic card so maybe that will be a pluss. Like anything I will have to get used to the rules there. So tell me about the benefits. I read on the website it is around 43 bucks per week for family but you say they get better after the first year? How do they get better? Thanks for all the wonderful info here as it is a huge help.

I had no idea they had started training program again. Not surprised, the way business has been.
They will hire you without the hazmat, but want you to get within six months, so it's a good thing you have it, will save having to do it later.
I have a TWIC also. Never had to use it yet, but if you run the system, never know when you might end up in a port.
My health insurance premiums decreased after 15 months, but I don't think anything else changed.
    Will you be in Decatur?

Good deal. I come through there twice a week on my Mercedes run out of Vance AL.
I usually sleep there on Wednesday nights.
Mule68 on here, lives in Falkville and works out of Decatur. He says he has been getting consistently good miles since he started.
I hope it goes good for you.

Hubby just started there. After 15 months benefits get better...it pays better especially in the dental and vision. Hubby is doing the Dollar General runs and is home every week. In fact, we usually see him twice a week b/c he runs through this way back to Ardmore. We are happy with our choice to change over to Averitt....looking forward to getting settled in and decent paychecks.
