    Thanks MustangGT
I interviewed with Kim today in Burbank. I liked everything I heard and saw except for when she got to the $36,000 a year part. This would only last according to her a couple of months until I could move to the city work. They need 3-4 more guys out of the Franklin Park depot. I don't think I could go down that low even for a couple months. I f I am sure it would be short term like she said, I would consider it. I need to let her know in two days.

How you doing? What is your impression of the company. I agree with you 1000% about the sleep part. I was a driver, they talked me into a management position over 33 guys. Now I just want to get back in the truck and be left alone. You do average about 3 hours a night and the doc says that ain't to good for a body. I am just leery about the "well you do this for a month at this low pay rate and then you will move up to a higher pay rate, if everything goes according to plan". Please keep me posted, I need to let them know soon so they can go forward processing my info.
    Thanks

well today was the second full day of orrintation.the president and ceo came to meet us and shook all our hands and welcomed us to averitt and talked to us.i thought that was very inpressive that he took time to meet us and talk to us.we also learned all about all the benifits. i am inpressed by all the benifits they offer .except the dental and vision but after 15 months of enployment those will be better the other benifits offered are great.will post more tomarrow after class.

I guess you picked up on the fact that short term disability is provided at no charge.
Once I was there long enough, I signed up for the LTD, longterm disability for around $11 a week. That's a good thing to have. Pays for illness or injury, on or off the job for the rest of your life.
A lot of companies don't even offer that at any price.
Yeah, I dropped the vision after I used it one time. I did the math and figured out I was better off to just buy my own glasses, but that's not such a big deal every few years.

Hey mule 68. I just got offered a dedicated run for Mercedes in Vance AL. Things must be really picking up.
Once you are there long enough, you may want to check into it. You are in the perfect spot.
My run starts in SC close my home. Then I go to Vance, up to MI, back to Vance and then back home. Start over tuesday in SC.
2300 miles in 4 days. Home every sat, sun and mon.

I haven't given up. Since the Franklin Park yard is so far from home and I am trying to stay by Burbank, I put in for the Regional Chicago position. I will take to them again this week. I don't know what it is but I get a good vibe about this company. Keep me posted on your training and Dedicated progress as well MustangGT
