Eghads ! I have been driving since beforeT-Tex roamed the earth ( I think ) and I have never heard of anyone putting a lawyer on retainer for a job !!! I think if it has come to that I would find another job or another profession !! FYI---- you can save money by getting a large brown mailing envelope , address it to yourself or close
friend and stamp it, and then put your "comic book" ie : illegal log book in it. If you ever go through a DOT check or a scale check simply lick the envelope. It then becomes property of the USPS and therefore untouchable ! I don't understand why you would sue a company if you knew what you were going to make per mile when you hired on. If you are REALLY going to stay with the company until you have lost $100,000.00 or more then I believe ( trying to say this gently) that you may have bigger issues than the company you are working for ! ( And Averitt may know or suspect this ) Be Safe

To all Mustang GT, speaks the truth, I've been with Averitt for over 6 years in truckload. I run out of central Fl, have had good times along with bad one here at Averitt. Still I'm not going leave anytime soon. I don't get over to this site often,so take what GT says to the bank!

Mercedes is shut down for two weeks and I was given the option of working TL or staying home.
I decided to work TL this week and take the following week off.
I have some remaining vacation time, but saving it for the Christmas shutdown. -
well enjoy your week of tl and then your week of vacation.i am still happy with everything here but the sitting i do waiting for load home at the service centers.but the way i see it is i have to take the bad with the good.and so far the good has been better than the bad.i have beenmaking more money here so far than i have with any other company i have ever been with.
