She made two trips to Ukraine, paid for by teachers union dues, to access the Ukraine war situation. She carried the Ukraine flag upside down.
So, how does this benefit teachers and students in the USA?

I'm guessing you're looking at 6 months to a year before you will be approved for a rider. Tanker? Double/Triple? Specialized? With a minor? No way.

As u can see from the various judgements here, you're probably going to have to deal with the same type of judgements and concerns from the safety department and the insurance pukes.

Trucking isn't what it was when you were a kid.

Any noobs thinking of jumping in, the tomorrow of trucking is a cubical with a camera. And if you can't do the grind, you're gone baby.

    Know what you're getting into.

To the OP... if you want to raise a child in a truck suffering along with your adult grind, then so be it. But i sincerely doubt many starter companies will play along. They're looking for soldiers not nurse maids. Anything that could possibly interfere with profit is a hassle to them.

You're looking for a job, not a favor.

    Best luck

Dozens of companies allow riders, either on day one or after orientation & training period and that goes for new cdl school grads.
    ~
    Here's just one example:
    National Carriers | Company Driving Jobs | CDL-A Positions | (drivenci.com)
    • Have a CDL but need training? Ask about our excellent student program - $65,000 first year pay!
    • Rider and pet policy - Bring your loved ones and pets to make those miles pass faster.

Yes, many companies allow riders. But the op wants $1400 a week with a starter company. With a child. Day one. I didn't say it's impossible, just implausible.

It'll take at least a year to make that much per week. Twelve mos. experience, then change companies.
I worked for one hazmat tanker company that allowed a rider, but has since rescinded that benefit.

So all anyone on this thread has done is either jump on the op's ##* or blow smoke up his ##*. Rock n Roll.

I'll list some more companies that hire new cdl school grads and allow a passenger.
You can call and ask if the rider policy is still valid.

Yes but that's not what he wants to do. It's his life, and I mean no harm, but nobody asked for the opinion you're giving, thus rendering it irrelevant.
