I can live with that. Now, are we going to make the Mexican drivers abide by the same regulations while they're on our asphalt?

 

That depends on the administration. I thought W was bad on this issue but O has him beat by a long shot! Did you know that we the US taxpayer are paying for the elogs to be put in and used by mexican trucks crossing thr border? How crazy is that?

 

Got home last night with seconds left on my 14! Glad to have some time off. Everyone have a great Turkey Day and holiday weekend.

 

Had a great weekend at home. Almost too long,it made me lazy so I didnt deliver as early as I could have monday. Oh well,gotta enjoy family time as much as you can. Delivered my load in Oklahoma then deadheaded to Ft Smith for a 700mi run to northern Illinois delivers wednesday. Probably load back to the Ft. Smith/Springdale/Tulsa triangle from there. Some guys hate 44 but I love it because it keeps me in steel mostly and near home. Cant beat that!

 

On another note,gonna have to make a stop at the dealer soon I guess. Throwin another check engine code for my vva sensor and its causing my fuel mileage to suffer. This C15 eats these vva sensors about 1 every 9-12mos. If it werent for fuel mileage I wouldnt worry about it. It just helps time fuel injection if I understood dealer correctly. He said some guys never replace them til the engine derates itself because of the bad sensor but I cant stand the loss of fuel mileage. Guess I'll get some other minor things done at same time. Thank goodness for maintanece savings account,no worries about money to make repairs

 

Aww when it looks like rain it usually starts to pour lol. Got up this morning to a cold water leak. I sleep with truck off so the cold weather has caused ine if my hoses to leak a bit when it gets real cold. Guess I add that to my list lol. Good thing is once engine and water warms the hose up it quits leaking

 

Gotta love these recievers who arent in a hurry. Luckily csr was able to reschedule my preplan.

 

Does Maverick give you a discount on tires and such repairs in their shops or is maintenance all on your own?

 

Yeah you get discounts on tires and parts at their shops but Im not sure how much. I still prefer to choose my own shop most times. Ive got to where I have a list of shops I do and dont do business with in my usual freight lanes.
