Delivered in Paris Tx friday afternoon then dh to Shreveport to load for Mooresburg Tn to deliver monday. I wont get a restart this weekend so that sucks some but on the flip side I was able to get a few maintenance items checked off my list Now my fuel mileage should return yay!!
Got to check out a Cascadia overnight since my truck was in the shop and Im too cheap for a motel lol. Slept in a empty company truck. Very nice trucks and noticeably quieter in the sleeper than my T600.
Oh man have I been busy past two weeks! I'll try to give a run down this weekend. Needless to say Im making nice Christmas money Im in Houston tonight for a 8am delivery south of town. That will make 2500mi and $4400 gross this week! Last week even though busy I only turned a little over 1900mi but I cleared over $1200 after truck expenses and before taxes. Not too shabby for December!
Another decent week. Two loads equaling 2190mi for a gross of $3452. Should bring home around 1100-1200. I brought home $1910 on last weeks gross of $4400.AWESOME! Headed to Cameron,Tx for load thru home for Christmas delivering St.Cloud,Mn on Tuesday. Hope you all have a very merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year!
Ended this week on about $4600 gross and expect to clear about 1700-1900 depending on fuel discounts which I dont see till I get my settlement.
No unfortunately Ive been sick since monday morning. Tried leaving the house monday but just couldnt do it. Tried again this morning but I think just made myself worse. FM finally set up a repower(i recommended that monday) now load is late. I got a bad flu of some kind everthing comin out both ends.
Questions about the lease specifically: How does Maverick handle fuel? How are taxes handled? Are any of the insurances or benefits offered? How much gets taken out to build escrow? How easy is it to access escrow money? Can I back out when I come to my senses? What happens to escrowed funds? Do you have access to any load board and/or have any options besides "take it or leave it" and the political implications that could be involved in turning down a load?
