    my fleet manager was told that you would have to lease a truck from maverick .
    So there must be a double standard or something.

    Go figure. Yeah something. Because I have been in NLR when a couple of drivers went to Freightliner. One guy bought an old Maverick Century and another guy bought a condo Century former Prime truck. Neither ever leased. Last I looked Maverick still advertises on their website and in the truck papers for o/o's.

    One of them was but the other I think had only been here a year or less. Must be something they have recently changed. Makes no sense to me though.

    Maverick Specialized will take on O/O's (glass haulers) with their own trucks...regular flat bed, ya gotta lease one of those old Maverick trucks.

    You could lease one of their trucks.for.a.year, turn it in, and then bring your.own truck...because you are.now.in the system.
