No loads are fcfs, first come first served. Most loads pay well,Maverick doesnt like cheap freight any more than I do.

With fuel prices going up to new highs, how is that affecting your
bottom line? Thats what is keeping me from jumping in right now.
Also, are settlements paid weekly?
If you have a mechanical breakdown on the road do you have fleetnet or do you find your own tow/repair shop? -

Thanks Dan for the info so far! I plan on contacting Maverick this week to ask more questions. LOL actualy they have been calling me asking if I would be interested in returning! But if I do I think I want to go IC. Can I give you the referal when I talk to the company? Who do I say I chatted with or pass along a truck number or do you have a handle?
Thanks

Dan, do you ever plan to buy out your truck, or just lease another one?

Last four weeks avg per mile $1.766 Pretty decent considering I had a week where I ran a couple of lower paying runs and that week my average was under $1.60/mi. This is for all miles deadhead and loaded.8207mi $14494gross. One week was a short week due to time off.
jxu417 Thanks this. -
I may be mistaken, but you can deduct all of your expenses....you just have to do depreciation on the truck vs writing off your lease payment. -
