I agree with you. Help when you can. And I've always been that way and always will. The thing I hate to see is I've watched a lot of you tube videos where you see other truckers just taping others having trouble backing or whatever and all they do is bit-h about the guy instead of trying to help! Those are the ones that are not a help at all !!
Do the trucks have electrical outlets in the sleeper area or just cig lighter plug slots. If no electrical outlets am I allowed to use my own low amp adapter to plug in cig lighter for my TV and cpap.
On the hometime fleets how close do you have to be to a terminal or location that has a driver on it? Do they have any in the Dubuque IA area or Lacrosse WI area? I'd be looking at van or Curtainside. I'd also be a new driver so I'd probably run national for a few months to get some time.
I think for hometime fleets you have to be within 150 miles. You might be able to do hometime out of Marshfield. You won't have a problem using inverters that plug into the accessories plugs.
I live right between LaCrosse and Dubs. I take my truck home, but there is a drop yard in Madison (Cottage Grove). That's the closest one to me. If that doesn't work, then Marshfield might be closest for you if you're closer to Lax.
I'm considering this move and the biggest draw to Roehl for me is the hometime fleet options. My wife and I like to travel and you do need to have a life other than your job. Scott I may talk to you sometime about Roehl. Trust me we're not very far apart. I had you pegged on here long ago.
Where is the Drop yard in Madison, I live maybe 10 mins outside and might need a place to park my truck if I can back it into my driveway (Gravel, but don't know if it will handle the weight of the truck).
