    I know that. It was in the news last year about some slave laborer was paying foreignors peanuts to haul containers up there. Like $60 a day.

    But as far as OTR drivers go, they are in and out of there all the time. I know North Jersey like the back of my hand. Many drivers don't like to run the northeast and companies are always seeking drivers that will go there. You don't want to work for a company from there, but one that goes there. Then you can get home with no problem.

    Thanks for the info. I checked into this for some information - I didn't even know they did peer-to-peer lending. Unfortunately, it would appear I don't have sufficient credit history or active credit to generate a credit report from Experian so prosper wont let me borrow. Bazinga. This thread is depressing, I'll update again when I've had some GOOD news ha. Thanks for the support and advice.
